May The Odds Be Ever in Your Favour.

Hello everyone!

Here's a manicure to celebrate one of this years most anticipated films... The Hunger Games! I'm beyond excited to see it. I've been a fan of the books for quite awhile, so I'm looking forward to how it's translated to screen. This manicure was actually inspired by Kayla Shevonne's, which you can view here. If you haven't seen her work before, you will be in awe. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this manicure! Is anyone going to go see the movie this weekend? I hear it's going to be a big box office seller!

Happy Hunger Games!

Enjoy your weekend!

(Btw... I apologize about the weird colouring of the picture, I was testing out different lighting.)

What was used:

OPI Skull & Glossbones
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Black Out
Nail Art Brushes

Oh Boy, Mickey Mouse!

Hey guys!

I've always loved the magic of Walt Disney and everything to do with it... when you see a picture of the castle, it just makes you feel like a kid. I have little signs with Disney quotes all over my room. I did this manicure several weeks ago (It was actually around New Years... talk about late posting!) I suppose I was feeling rather reminiscent of being a kid. Plus, I was hoping to do something quick and easy.. and this turned out to be exactly that!

I don't remember the exact polishes, but the yellow and black were Sally Hansen, and the red was by Essie.

I hope you enjoy this manicure!

I'm hoping to post another manicure soon. Hopefully everyone had a lovely day :)

My Oh My...

Hello everyone!

So, it's officially been forever since I've posted anything... I have several manicures to post, but I haven't had any time. I've been completely overwhelmed with school. I'm sorry! I'm hoping to make some time in the next little while to post some pictures. In the mean time, here's a cute picture of a little dachshund! Adorable, eh?

I thought so ;)

Happy Hump Day! Have a good end of the week!

Stay happy and healthy!

Snowflakes

Hello everyone,

Hopefully everyone had a snow-filled, awesome Christmas! Where I live we were lacking a little in the snow department, which was too bad, but it was still a very nice day. Got to see lots of different family and it was just really laid back. What did you guys do?

In the spirit of the holiday season, I created a snowflake manicure. Hopefully you enjoy it!

I used:
Suzy Says Feng Shui by OPI (blue)
Alpine Snow by OPI
A random glitter by Sally Hansen

Hopefully everyone manages to have some time off school/work at one point during the holidays!
I don't imagine I'll post again before the new year... so Happy New Years everyone! Have a good one!

Up On the Housetop.. click click click

Hey guys!

Here's a nice Christmas manicure for you guys! I recreated Nailasaurus' holiday manicure on her blog. You can check out the manicure here! She is very talented.. I'm sure you'll find tons of manicure's that you'll just fall in love with.

What I used:
OPI Nail Polish in Alpine Snow (base colour and the eyes)
Essie Nail Polish in Mink Muffs and Mochacino (the two browns - the reindeer's body and antlers)
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Polish in Black Out (nose, lines, and eyes)
I don't remember the name of the red, but any red would work!
My lines started getting pretty wobbly because I was rushing to make it to school on time, but hopefully I did the manicure justice. CC welcome, of course!

I just did another nail look today, so hopefully I'll remember to post it ASAP.
Hope everyone has their Christmas shopping done and is ready for the holidays!

PS: If anyone has any snow they want to get rid of, can you send it my way? We seem to be lacking snow for the first time in years.. it's putting a damper on my holiday spirit! haha
